Wild Boy of Burundi

Wild Boy of Burundi ist der Name eines angeblichen Wolfskindes. 1976 wurde von einem Jungen berichtet, der angeblich von Affen aufgezogen worden sei. Er zeigte kein normales menschliches Verhalten und galt als sogenanntes "wildes Kind". Der Psychologe Harlan Lane, der als Experte für Wolfskinder galt, nahm sich des Falles an. Schon bald ergaben seine Nachforschungen, dass es sich bei dem Jungen nicht um ein Wolfskind handelte, sondern dass er unter Autismus litt. Er war auch nicht von Affen großgezogen worden, sondern in Heimen und bei Pflegefamilien aufgewachsen.
