Community of European Management Schools

CEMS ist die Abkürzung für Community of European Management Schools, eine Vereinigung von führenden Wirtschaftshochschulen und multinationalen Unternehmen in Europa. Derzeit verbindet CEMS 17 europäische Universitäten, 9 Institutionen aus Übersee und mehr als 50 Unternehmen; es ist nur jeweils eine Hochschule pro Land zugelassen.

Der einjährige CEMS Master in International Management (CEMS-MIM) ist ein Programm, das ausschließlich Studierenden von CEMS-Universitäten offensteht. Er soll zukünftigen Managern und Managerinnen mit interkulturellen und sprachlichen Kompetenzen ausstatten und ihnen so helfen, den Anforderungen der modernen Geschäftswelt gerecht zu werden. Das Programm wurde in Kooperation mit der Wirtschaft entwickelt.

Im Financial Times Ranking- "Masters in Management 2007" konnte das CEMS Programm wie auch in den Vorjahren den 2. Platz der europäischen top 40 Programme erreichen. Im Jahr 2008 rangiert der CEMS Master auf Platz 3 des FT Rankings.
