Kongenere (auch Congenere) sind chemische Verbindungen mit dem gleichen Stamm d. h. der gleichen Grundstruktur. Im Gegensatz zu isomeren Verbindungen, welche alle dieselbe Summenformel haben, kann sich diese bei verschiedenen Kongeneren unterscheiden.

Die jeweiligen Verbindungen können unterschiedliche chemische, physikalische und toxikologische Eigenschaften haben. Sie treten häufig als Gemisch auf.
