Cream of Coconut

Cream of Coconut, auch Coconut Cream genannt, ist eine dickflüssige Creme aus eingedicktem Kokosnussfett und mit Rohrzucker gesüßter Kokosmilch. Es gibt auch eine ungesüßte Variante.

Cream of Coconut unterscheidet sich in Konsistenz und Geschmack deutlich von der flüssigen Kokosmilch und dem weniger cremigen und süßeren Kokossirup. Cream of Coconut wird vorrangig als Mixzutat für Cocktails, wie Piña Colada und andere Coladas oder Batidas verwendet.
