Unter einem Deep-Discount-Bond versteht man eine Anleihe, deren Kupon bewusst so niedrig gehalten ist, dass sie mit einem großen Kursabschlag emittiert wird, d.h. zu Beginn ihrer Laufzeit stark unter pari notiert.
