Die Advance Australia Party (AAP) ist eine der kleineren politischen Parteien in Australien. Die Partei wurde für alle jene Wähler gegründet, die mit der rationalen Wirtschafts-Politik der beiden großen nationalen Parteien Liberal Party of Australia und Australian Labor Party unzufrieden waren. Am 14. Juli 1989 wurde sie in das australische Parteienregister aufgenommen, jedoch am 5. Dezember 2005 nach vier Jahren ohne aufgestellten Kandidaten, wieder aus jenem gestrichen.

Seit 2006 ist Rex Connor Jr., der Sohn des früheren Ministers Rex Connor, neuer Vorsitzender der AAP.
