Double Disc Court

Double Disc Court (DDC) ist eine Frisbee-Spielart, die mit zwei Frisbees gespielt wird. Gespielt wird in zwei Teams zu je zwei Spielern. Die Team-Mitglieder stehen im selben Spielfeld (siehe Bild rechts).

Das DDC-Spielfeld

Das Ziel des Spiels ist, seinen eigenen Court gegen den Angriff des Gegners zu verteidigen. Zwei quadratische Spielfelder mit einer Seitenlänge von 13 Meter sind auf einem Rasenplatz angeordnet. Die Distanz zwischen den beiden sog. Courts beträgt 17 Meter.

Ein Angriff kann auf zwei verschiedene Arten begonnen werden.

  • Erstens: Das eine Team wirft seine Scheibe so in das gegnerische Spielfeld, dass das Frisbee innerhalb des Spielfelds liegen bleibt, ohne je ins Aus zu rutschen oder rollen.
  • Zweitens: Das eine Team wirft seine beiden Scheiben so in das gegnerische Spielfeld, dass beide Gegner diese gleichzeitig berühren (sog. "Double", zählen zwei Punkte).

Punkte werden erzielt, indem ein erfolgreicher Angriff durchgeführt wird, oder indem der Gegner seine Scheibe ins Aus wirft.
