Earl of Harrowby in the County of Lincoln ist ein britischer erblicher Adelstitel in der Peerage of the United Kingdom, der von der Familie Ryder getragen wird.

Stammsitze der Familie sind Harrowby Hall in Lincolnshire und Sandon Hall bei Sandon in Staffordshire.

Verleihung

Der Titel wurde im Jahre 1809 für Dudley Ryder, 2. Baron Harrowby geschaffen. Dieser war zuvor Außenminister unter William Pitt gewesen. Später war er 15 Jahre Lord President of the Council.

Nachgeordnete Titel

Der Earl of Harrowby führt den gleichzeitig verliehenen Titel Viscount Sandon als nachgeordneten Titel, der auch von dem jeweiligen Titelerben als Höflichkeitstitel geführt wird.

Weiter wird der nachgeordnete Titel Baron Harrowby, of Harrowby in the County of Lincoln, geführt. Dieser gehört zur Peerage of Great Britain und wurde 1776 für den Vater des ersten Earls, einen Abgeordneten des Unterhauses, geschaffen.
