Flaperon

Als Flaperon bezeichnet man ein Steuerruder in der Luftfahrzeugtechnik, welches hauptsächlich als Querruder arbeitet, gleichzeitig aber auch als Wölbklappe genutzt werden kann. Flaperons erstrecken sich meist über die gesamte Tragfläche. Im Falle einer parallelen Nutzung (Wölbklappen und Querruder nicht in Neutralstellung) findet eine Überlagerung (Differenzierung) beider Ruderfunktionsweisen statt, um bei gewölbter Stellung der Klappe eine noch bessere Querruderwirkung erzielen zu können.
