Francis Huxley

Francis Huxley (* 1923) ist ein britischer Botaniker, Anthropologe und Schriftsteller. Er ist der Sohn des Biologen Julian Sorell Huxley und Neffe des Schriftstellers Aldous Huxley.

Sein wissenschaftliches Spektrum ist außerordentlich breit. So befasste er sich anderem mit den Urubu-Indianern in Brasilien und den Voodoo-Gottheiten in Haiti. Eine illustrierte Geschichte von Riten, Symbolen, Tabus usw. ist sein Buch The Way Of The Sacred.
