George Chauncey

George Chauncey (* 1953) ist ein Professor für Geschichte an der Yale-Universität und Autor.

Biographie

Nach seiner Schulausbildung studierte Chauncey Geschichte an der Universität in Yale und erhielt 1989 seinen Ph.D. Von 1991 bis 2006 unterrichtete Chauncey im Fachbereich Geschichte an der Universität Chicago. 2006 wechselte er als Professor nach Yale. Chauncey verfasste mehrere Bücher.
