Gorerotted

The Rotted ist eine aus England stammende Goregrind-/Brutal-Deathmetal-Band, die im Jahre 1997 unter dem Namen Gorerotted gegründet wurde. Ihre Songtexte handeln zu einem großen Teil von Horrorfilmen. Sie arbeiten daher gern mit Samples aus Horrorfilmen, die sie an den Anfang oder zum Ende eines Songs setzen. Die Band ist derzeit bei Metal Blade Records unter Vertrag.

Am 22. April 2008 ändern Gorerotted ihren Namen offiziell in "The Rotted".[1]
