Die Hundsgrotte oder italienisch Grotta del Cane ist eine zu der Gruppe der Mofetten zählende Lavahöhle in den Phlegräischen Feldern, westlich von Neapel. In Bodennähe entstehen in der Grotte Kohlendioxidseen, in denen kleine Tiere (z. B. Hunde) ersticken.
Die Luft in der Höhle besteht aus 70 % Kohlendioxid, 24 % Stickstoff und nur aus 6 % Sauerstoff.
