Die Reihe 51 (auch HLD 51) der Belgischen Staatsbahn (NMBS/SNCB) ist eine Reihe von sechsachsigen Streckendiesellokomotiven. Sie war neben der NMBS/SNCB-Reihe 55 der zweite Dieselloktyp der NMBS/SNCB.

In den 1960er-Jahren waren weite Teile des belgischen Schienennetzes noch nicht elektrifiziert. Da das Transportaufkommen im Güter- und Personenverkehr anstieg, entschied sich die NMBS/SNCB für den Bau diesen Typs. Im Jahr 2003 wurden die letzten Modelle ausgemustert. Einige wurden nach Italien verkauft oder an Eisenbahnmuseen abgegeben.
