Vier Schiffe der Royal Canadian Navy bzw. des Canadian Forces Maritime Command trugen bisher den Namen HMCS Ottawa nach dem Fluss Ottawa:

  • Die zweite HMCS Ottawa war der frühere britische Zerstörer HMS Griffin der G-Klasse. Dieser lief 1935 vom Stapel, wurde 1943 von der kanadischen Marine übernommen und 1946 verschrottet.
  • Die dritte HMCS Ottawa war ein Zerstörer der St. Laurent-Klasse. 1953 vom Stapel gelaufen, wurde das Schiff mehrfach modernisiert und erst 1993 außer Dienst gestellt.
