Verschiedene Schiffe der britischen Royal Navy trugen den Namen HMS Northumberland nach der britischen Grafschaft Northumberland:

  • Die erste HMS Northumberland (1679) war ein Linienschiff dritter Klasse mit 70 Kanonen, das 1679 vom Stapel lief und am 26. November 1703 mit der gesamten Besatzung im Großer Sturm (1703) sank.
  • Die zweite HMS Northumberland (1705) war ein Linienschiff dritter Klasse mit 70 Kanonen, das 1705 vom Stapel lief und 1744 in die Hände der Franzosen fiel.
  • Die dritte HMS Northumberland (1750) war ein Linienschiff dritter Klasse mit 70 Kanonen, das 1750 vom Stapel lief und 1777 in ein Leviathan benanntes Transportschiff umgewandelt wurde.
  • Die vierte HMS Northumberland (1798) war ein Linienschiff dritter Klasse mit 74 Kanonen, das 1798 vom Stapel lief und 1850 außer Dienst gestellt wurde. Berühmt wurde sie dadurch, dass Napoleon 1815 auf ihr in sein Exil auf St. Helena gebracht wurde.
  • Die fünfte HMS Northumberland (1868) war ein Panzerschiff der Warrior-Klasse, das 1868 vom Stapel lief und 1909 außer Dienst gestellt wurde.
  • Die sechste HMS Northumberland sollte zusammen mit der HMS Surrey eine verbesserte Version der schweren Kreuzer der County-Klasse werden. Beide Schiffe wurden nie gebaut.
  • Die siebente HMS Northumberland (F238) ist eine Fregatte der Duke-Klasse, die 1992 vom Stapel lief.
  • Ein nach dem 1744 erbeuteten britischen Schiff benanntes französisches Linienschiff Northumberland kämpfte in der Seeschlacht am 13. Prairial 1794 mit.
