Haruomi Hosono (jap. 細野 晴臣 Hosono Haruomi; * 9. Juli 1947 in Tokio) ist ein japanischer Musiker. International bekannt wurde er als Bandmitglied des Yellow Magic Orchestra.

Seine Karriere begann als Bassgitarrist der psychedelischen Rockband Apryl Fool, die 1969 das Album The Apryl Fool veröffentlichte. Mitglieder dieser Band (einschließlich Hosono) formierten sich später zu der einflussreichen Folk-Rock Gruppe Happy End.

1978 gründete Hosono zusammen mit Yukihiro Takahashi und Ryuichi Sakamoto das Yellow Magic Orchestra.
