ILMI

Das Interim oder Integrated Local Management Interface (ILMI) und wird beim ATM-Management verwendet. Es ist ein Protokoll bzw. eine Schnittstelle zur lokalen Steuerung und Administration von ATM-Geräten und Switches.

Das ILMI ist ein vom ATM Forum definiertes Protokoll zum Einstellen und Sammeln von Parametern auf dem ATM-Interface (zum Beispiel Parameter, die den Physical-, ATM-Layer oder den Virtual Path/Virtual Circuit (VPI/VCI) betreffen). ILMI benutzt dazu SNMP-Pakete ohne UDP- und IP-Header.
