Die Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) ist der Berufsverband der EDV-Prüfer (IT-Auditoren) und hat in über 140 Ländern mehr als 70.000 Mitglieder. Die Mitglieder sind Mitarbeiter der Internen Revision oder von Prüfungs- und Beratungsgesellschaften, die sich auf die Prüfung der elektronischen Datenverarbeitung / Informationstechnik spezialisiert haben. ISACA ist eine anerkannte Prüfungsstelle in den Bereichen IT-Governance, Controlling, IT-Sicherheit und IT-Assurance.

Gegründet 1969, sponsert ISACA internationale Konferenzen, veröffentlicht das ISACA Journal (bis 2008: Information Systems Control Journal), entwickelt internationale Rechnungsprüfungs- und Informationssystem-Kontrollstandards und zertifiziert

Die ISACA hat ein Modell zur Prüfung und Steuerung der IT entwickelt: Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (CobiT).
