Das Forum unterhält mehrere Arbeitsgruppen, die für 3 Standards verantwortlich sind:
- Open Publication Structure (OPS)
- Open Packaging Format (OPF)
- Container Format (OCF)
Aus diesen 3 Standards setzt sich das EPUB-Format für E-Books zusammen.
