Verleihung der Jetix-Awards im Rahmen der Jugendmesse YOU 2008 in Berlin

Jetix ist ein Fernsehsender für Kinder und Jugendliche im Alter von 4 bis 13 Jahre.

Gesendet werden Gewinnspiele, Action-, Abenteuersendungen und Humorvolles. Das Programm wird von der JETIX Europe GmbH mit Sitz in München produziert.

Sendestart war am 1. Oktober 2000 unter dem Namen „Fox Kids“. Seit 10. Juni 2005 heißt der Sender „JETIX“. JETIX EUROPE ist an der Amsterdamer Börse Euronext notiert. Hauptanteilseigner ist die Walt Disney Company (75 %).

Jetix wird digital über Satellit verbreitet und ist dort sowie im Kabel im Rahmen des Programmbouquets von Premiere zu empfangen.

Weltweit erreicht JETIX über 279 Millionen TV-Haushalte in 80 Ländern und 25 Sprachen.

Auf dem Sender werden z. B. folgende Serien ausgestrahlt:

Der Sender ist auch in Frankreich, Großbritannien, Holland, den USA, Japan, Brasilien und anderen Ländern vertreten.
