James Joyce's The Dead

James Joyce´s The Dead ist ein Broadway Musical von Richard Nelson und Shaun Davey basierend auf der gleichnamigen Short Story von James Joyce.

Die Uraufführung fand in dem off-Broadway Theaterhaus Playwrights Horizons, mit der folgenden Erstbesetzung, statt: Blair Brown, Paddy Croft, Brian Davies, Daisy Eagan, Dashiell Eaves, Sally Ann Howes, John Kelly, Brooke Sunny Moriber, Marni Nixon, Alice Ripley, Emily Skinner, Stephen Spinella, and Christopher Walken. Die musikalische Leitung hatte Charles Prince, Musikkoordination und Schlagzeug von Tom Partington. Auf dem Broadway wurde es am 11. Januar 2000 im Belasco Theatre aufgeführt. Dort wurde es dann bis zum 16. Aprill 120 Mal aufgeführt.
