Joan Chandler (* 24. August 1923 in Butler, Pennsylvania als Joan Cheeseman; † 11. Mai 1979 in New York City) war eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin.

Leben

Sie gab 1946 ihr Filmdebüt mit Tag und Nacht denk ich an dich. Den größten Erfolg ihrer Karriere erlangte sie 1948 an der Seite von James Stewart in dem Alfred Hitchcock-Film Cocktail für eine Leiche. Nach einigen unbedeutenden Filmen zog sie sich 1960 von der Schauspielerei zurück.

Joan Chandler war mit David McKay und Dr. Charles C.Hogan verheiratet gewesen. Sie starb 1979 an Krebs.
