Kenny war eine (Teenie-) Pop-Band, die von 1974 bis 1976 mit eingängigen Glam Rock-Nummern sehr erfolgreich war.

Geschichte

Ursprünglich spielten sie progressiven Rock, bevor sie von den Songwritern Bill Martin / Phil Coulter, die mit Songs für die Bay City Rollers gerade sehr erfolgreich waren, entdeckt wurden. Die raschen Anfangserfolge flachten jedoch ab, als der Glam-Rock- und Boyband-Boom 1977 von der Disco-Welle auf der einen und dem Punkrock auf der anderen Seite abgelöst wurde.
