Lee Purcell (* 15. Juni 1947 in Cherry Point, North Carolina als Lee Jeune Williams) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin.

Leben und Leistungen

Purcell debütierte an der Seite von Michael Douglas in einer größeren Rolle im Filmdrama Adam at Six A.M. aus dem Jahr 1970. Im Horrorfilm Horror-Attack (1972) spielte sie neben Orson Welles, im Actionfilm Das Gesetz bin ich (1974) war sie neben Charles Bronson zu sehen. Im Actionfilm Kopfjagd (1983) spielte sie die Rolle von Jilly Buck, der Nichte des Gouverneurs von Texas, die dem aus einem Gefängnis geflohenen Eddie Macon (John Schneider) hilft. Für ihre Rolle im Fernsehdrama Sehnsucht ohne Grenzen (1991) wurde sie 1991 für den Emmy Award nominiert. Eine weitere Nominierung für den Emmy Award erhielt sie 1994 für ihre Rolle im Fernsehdrama Die Sünden eines Vaters (1994), in dem sie neben Beau Bridges und Lloyd Bridges eine der größeren Rollen spielte. In den Jahren 1995 bis 1996 trat sie in einigen Folgen der Fernsehserie Ein Mountie in Chicago auf.

Ihr Sohn Dylan Purcell ist ebenfalls ein Schauspieler.
