Ein Letterbook ist ein Buch, in das Mädchen und Jungen ihre Gefühle, Gedanken, Erfahrungen und Geheimnisse schreiben. Man kann es wie eine Art Tagebuch betrachten, nur mit dem Unterschied, dass es von mehreren Leuten in Anspruch genommen wird.
Meist sind es kleine Bücher im DIN A5 oder DIN A4 Format, da in diese mehr geschrieben werden kann.
