Life… But how to live it? ist eine norwegische Hardcore-Punk-Band. Eng verbunden mit dem autonomen Zentrum Blitz in Oslo, war sie von 1988 bis 1994 prägender Bestandteil der politischen Hardcore-Szene Europas.

Bandgeschichte

Life… But how to live it? gründeten sich im Sommer 1988. Bereits ein Jahr später veröffentlichten sie ihre erste, selbstbetitelte LP, im selben Jahr erschien auf dem Your Choice Live Series-Label der Livemitschnitt eines Konzertes in Deutschland.

Zusammen mit Stengte Dører oder auch So Much Hate waren Life… But how to live it? die bekanntesten Vertreter der Hardcore-Szene Norwegens. 1994 lösten sich Life… But how to live it? nach über 300 Konzerten auf.

Im Jahre 2000 fanden sich Life… But how to live it? anlässlich des 20. Geburtstages des Blitz-Zentrums für ein Konzert einmalig wieder zusammen. Im Dezember 2007 gaben Life… But how to live it? auf ihrer MySpace-Seite bekannt, im Mai 2008 in Oslo und im Juni desselben Jahres in Frankfurt am Main aufzutreten.
