Liste der Distrikte in England

Die Liste führt alle District bzw. Unitary Authorithies Englands in alphabetischer Reihenfolge auf. Zu jedem District wird die Einwohnerzahl, der Status bzw. die Bezeichnung und die zugehörige County genannt. Bei den Unitary Authorities wird die Grafschaft (county) genannt, zu der das Gebiet früher verwaltungstechnisch gehörte. Die Unitary Authorities, die man mit kreisfreien Städten in Deutschland vergleichen kann, gehören diesen Countys nur noch für zeremonielle Zwecke an. Das heißt, dass die Königin in diesem Gebiet vom selben Lord Lieutenant vertreten wird.
