Mbozi ist ein Distrikt im Südwesten Tansanias in der Mbeya-Region mit über 500.000 Einwohnern. Die meisten von ihnen gehören den Volksgruppen der Nyiha und der Nyamwanga an. Mbozi grenzt unmittelbar an Sambia sowie an die Distrikte Chunya, Mbeya-Land und Ileje. Im Westen liegt die Region Rukwa.

Verwaltungssitz ist Vwawa, das an der Hauptstraße von Daressalam über Mbeya nach Sambia via Tunduma liegt.

Der Name des Distrikts rührt von der 1899 gegründeten Herrnhuter Missionsstation Mbozi in der Nähe von Vwawa her, wo die Moravian Church ein Krankenhaus und eine Schule unterhält.
