Midnight Ravers

Midnight Ravers (zu deutsch "Mitternachtsschwärmer") ist ein Song von Bob Marley und seiner Band The Wailers. Es wurde auf dem Studioalbum Catch a Fire (1973) als letztes von neun Liedern veröffentlicht.

Midnight Ravers wurde von Marley 1972 in Kingston komponiert, angeblich auf der Rückseite eines Telefonbuchs, nachdem er die Nacht mit Patricia Williams, mit der Marley eine Affäre hatte, aus welcher der gemeinsame Sohn Robbie Marley stammt, verbracht hatte. Der Song war fester Bestandteil auf den Konzerten der Tourneen von 1973 und 1975.

Die Albumversion hat die Tonart a-Moll; auch auf Live-Auftritten wurde der Song in a-Moll gespielt. Die Dauer der Albumversion beträgt etwa fünf Minuten.
