Lage des Mt. Carse in Südgeorgien

Der Mount Carse ist ein Berg mit mehreren Gipfeln, deren höchster 2.330 Meter misst und sich 3,2 Kilometer nördlich des Endes des Drygalski Fjord im südlichen Teil der Salvesen Range in Südgeorgien befindet. Er wurde von 1951 bis 1957 im Rahmen des South Georgia Survey erforscht und nach Verner Duncan Carse benannt, dem Leiter der vier Expeditionen während dieser Periode.[1] Die Erstbesteigung erfolgte 1990 durch Stephen Venables.
