Die ASPO (Association for the Study of Peak Oil and Gas) ist ein Netzwerk von Wissenschaftlern, Politikern und Journalisten, die sich mit dem globalen Fördermaximum von Öl und Gas und dessen Zeitpunkt und Folgen beschäftigen. Die ASPO wurde von den Geologen Colin J. Campbell und Jean Laherrère im Jahr 2000 gegründet. Präsident der internationalen ASPO ist der schwedische Physikprofessor Kjell Aleklett.
Mittlerweile gibt es in vielen Ländern nationale ASPOs, u.a. in den USA, in Deutschland sowie in der Schweiz.
Der Vorsitzende der deutschen ASPO ist derzeit (2009) der Clausthaler Geologe Wolfgang Blendinger, der Vorsitzende der Schweizer ASPO ist derzeit (2009) der Basler Historiker Daniele Ganser.
