Pass Interference

Als Pass Interference oder Passbehinderung bezeichnet man im American Football den illegalen Körperkontakt während eines Vorwärtspasses, durch den ein berechtigter Passempfänger gehindert werden könnte, einen fangbaren Pass zu fangen.

In der National Football League wird eine Pass Interference mit einem automatischen First Down an der Stelle des Kontakts geahndet, im College- und High-School-Football ist die Strafe auf 15 Yards beschränkt.
