Plastochron

Ein Plastochron ist der zeitliche Abstand zwischen dem Erscheinen von zwei aufeinander folgenden Blättern derselben Achse. Wird in der Botanik als Maßeinheit verwendet, um Sukzessionsstadien von Pflanzengemeinschaften zu vergleichen. Eine Pflanze im 5-Blattstadium hat beispielsweise 5 Plastochron.
