Profitis Ilias (griechisch Προφήτης Ηλίας, „Prophet Elija“) heißen üblicherweise die jeweils höchsten Berge auf griechischen Inseln; man findet daher auf fast jeder Insel einen Berg, der so benannt ist:

Im alten Testament war der Berg Horeb der Fluchtort des Propheten Elias vor der Verfolgung durch die Königin Isebel.
