Pseudo-Voigt-Profil

Das Pseudo-Voigt-Profil (oder die Pseudo-Voigt-Funktion) ist eine Näherungsfunktion des Voigt-Profils V(x), das eine Faltung einer Gauß-Kurve G(x) mit einer Lorentzkurve L(x) ist. Beim Pseudo-Voigt-Profil wird diese Faltung durch eine Linearkombination aus Gauß-Kurve und Lorentzkurve ersetzt.

Die Pseudo-Voigt-Funktion wird oft zur Ausgleichsrechnung von Röntgendiffraktometrie-Profilen verwendet.

Mathematische Definition:

V_p(x)=\eta \cdot L(x) + (1-\eta) \cdot G(x) \;   mit   0 < η < 1
G(x) = \exp{\left[-\ln(2) \cdot \left(\frac{x-x_0}{w}\right)^{2}\right]} \;
L(x) = \frac{1}{1 + (\frac{x-x_0}{w})^{2}}

Dabei ist 2w die Halbwertsbreite der Pseudo-Voigt-Funktion.
