Random-Route

Random-Route ist ein Verfahren, nach dem Zielpersonen zur Befragung ausgewählt werden. Jede Person soll dabei mit derselben Wahrscheinlichkeit an der Umfrage beteiligt sein.

Die Auswahl der Befragten unterliegt einem Zufallsverfahren, das mehrere Schritte umfasst. Begehungs-Random: Der Interviewer bekommt aus dem Sampling Point als zufälligen Ausgangspunkt einen Straßennamen und eine Hausnummer vorgegeben. Von dort aus wird mittels eines vorgeschriebenen Routenbegehungsplans jeder x-te Haushalt notiert. Statistische Institute verfügen dabei bereits über einen, nach dem Random-Route-Verfahren ermittelten Adressenpool, auf den sie zurückgreifen können. Im nächsten Schritt erfolgt die Haushaltsauswahl. Aus der resultierenden Haushaltsliste wählt das Institut per Zufallsverfahren jeden y-ten Haushalt aus. Die Zielperson kann dann z.B. anhand des Schwedenschlüssels ausgewählt werden.
