Die Saldanha Bay ist eine Bucht an der Südwestküste von Südafrika und bildet den größten und tiefsten natürlichen Hafen Südafrikas, der auch von großen Frachtschiffen mit einem Tiefgang bis 23 m angelaufen werden kann. Am nördlichen Ufer liegt die Stadt Saldanha.

Die Bucht ist teilweise durch einen 3,1 km langen künstlichen Wellenbrecher geschützt und kann daher auch bei schlechtem Wetter von Schiffen angelaufen werden.

Zu einem modernen Hafen entwickelte sich die Bucht erst in den letzten Jahrzehnten, als es notwendig wurde, den Export des Eisenerzes aus der Provinz Nordkap zu erleichtern. Dieses erforderte den Bau einer mehr als 800 km langen Bahnlinie zu den Gruben bei Sishen bzw. Kathu im Nordkap und den Aufbau einer Hochseeanlegestelle in der Saldanha Bay. Seit September 1976 wurden bisher ungefähr 400 Million Tonnen Eisenerz über diesen Hafen verladen.
