Sha Tin ist ein Stadtviertel Hongkongs und befindet sich in den New Territories nördlich von Kowloon. Sha Tin besteht hauptsächlich aus Wohnhochhäusern und wurde in den 1970er-Jahren errichtet.

Die Bevölkerung beläuft sich auf 606.700 Einwohner, davon 287.000 Männer und 319.700 Frauen, und entspricht somit 8,9% der Gesamtbevölkerung Hong Kongs.

Der Großteil der Einwohner von Sha Tin lebt in Sha Tin New Town.
