Sinaiticus

Mit Sinaiticus (vom Sinai stammend) werden mehrere Handschriften, die im Katharinenkloster auf dem Berg Sinai gefunden wurden, bezeichnet, insbesondere zwei Handschriften des Neuen Testaments der Bibel, der griechische Codex Sinaiticus, entdeckt von Konstantin von Tischendorf, und eine altsyrische Übersetzung, entdeckt von Agnes Smith-Lewis.
