Sponholz Peak ist ein Gipfel der Liberty Hills in der Westantarktis. Die 1730 Meter hohe Erhebung liegt etwa 4,6 km südlich des Moulder Peak[1] an der Westseite des Horseshoe Valleys.

Der Gipfel wurde vom Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names nach Martin P. Sponholz benannt, einem Meteorologen des United States Antarctic Program, der während des Winters 1966 auf der amerikanischen Forschungsstation Plateau Station arbeitete.[1]
