Spreadeagle

Der aus dem Englischen stammende Begriff Spreadeagle (seltener "spread-eagle" oder "spread eagle") bezeichnet eine Bondage-Stellung, bei der die Arme und Beine der gefesselten Person so an vier Punkten fixiert werden, dass sie mit weit ausgestreckten Gliedmaßen auf dem Rücken (oder auf dem Bauch) zu liegen kommt. Die Stellung trägt ihren Namen in Anlehnung an einen Adler (engl. eagle), dessen Schwingen ausgebreitet sind ("spread"). Im Deutschen wird sie auch als "X-Stellung" oder "Adler" bezeichnet.

Die Fesselung kann mit Seilen, Manschetten oder eisernen Hand-/Fußschellen erfolgen. Häufig erfolgt die Fixierung an den vier Pfosten oder am Gestell eines Bettes.

Diese Stellung versetzt die gefesselte Person in eine ausgelieferte Position ohne jede Bewegungsfreiheit. Sie wird im Bereich des BDSM verwendet, um die Manipulation der erogenen Zonen zu ermöglichen. Der passive Partner / die passive Partnerin (Bottom) hat dabei keine Möglichkeit der Gegenwehr, da die Hände und Füße weit außerhalb jener Körperteile fixiert sind, an denen die Manipulation bzw. sexuelle Stimulation stattfindet.
