Die Standard Marine Communication Phrases (Abkürzung SMCP) sind Vorgaben der International Maritime Organization bezüglich der Sprachkommunikation im internationalen maritimen Funkverkehr. Hier wird vorgegeben, wie zum Beispiel Uhrzeiten, Positionen, Zahlen, Entfernungen oder Funkanweisungen in der Standardsprache Englisch zu formulieren sind, um eine internationale Einheitlichkeit zu erzielen. Die Phrasen sind bewusst einfach gehalten.
