Stephen Gould

Stephen Gould ist ein US-amerikanischer Tenor. Er stammt aus Virginia, studierte am New England Conservatory of Music in Boston und ging danach ans Lyric Opera Center for American Artists in Chicago. Gould sang neben ersten Opernrollen auch im Musical Das Phantom der Oper, bevor er sich als Heldentenor durchsetzen konnte. Zu seinem Repertoire gehören die Titelpartien in Siegfried, Tannhäuser und Otello, aber auch die Gurre-Lieder von Arnold Schönberg und der Solotenor in Beethovens 9. Sinfonie.
