Stopover

Ein Stopover ist im Bereich des Luftverkehrs ein absichtlich angeflogenes Zwischenziel auf einer Reiseroute. Der Begriff wird in der Regel nur für längere Zwischenstopps oder Zwischenstopps mit Übernachtung verwendet, nicht aber für das Umsteigen. Auch Umsteigen mit mehreren Stunden Aufenthalt wird nicht als Stopover bezeichnet.
