Suddenly I See (dt. Plötzlich erkenne ich) ist die dritte Single der britischen Musikerin KT Tunstall aus ihrem Debütalbum Eye to the Telescope.

Hintergrund

Die Single erschien am 10. März 2006 in Deutschland, fast ein Jahr später als in Großbritannien.

Das Lied wurde schon im Jahr 2004 aufgenommen und ist bereits auf dem Album Eye to the Telescope (2005) von KT Tunstall enthalten. In Deutschland war keine Single geplant, ihr später Erscheinungstermin ist nur auf die Popularität des Liedes in Großbritannien zurückzuführen.

In dem 2006er-Kinofilm Der Teufel trägt Prada lief das Lied im Vorspann.

Erfolg

In Deutschland konnte der Song keine großen Erfolge verbuchen. Er stieg nicht hoch in die Charts ein, unter anderem da er so gut wie nicht beworben wurde. In Brasilien erreichte das Lied Platz 1; in Großbritannien stieg das Lied bis auf Platz 12. In Rumänien wird es als Werbesong eines Mobilfunkunternehmens gespielt, in Deutschland untermalt er einen Werbespot des Eistee-Herstellers Nestea.
