Sun Is Shining (zu deutsch etwa "die Sonne scheint") ist ein Song des jamaikanischen Reggaemusikers Bob Marley und seiner Band The Wailers.

Es existieren zwei Albumversionen dieses Songs. Die originale zweiminütige Version mit der Tonart e-Moll wurde auf dem Album African Herbsman (1973). Eine zweite Version nahm Marley 1977 im Exil in London auf, welche auf dem Album Kaya (1978) veröffentlicht wurde. Diese fünfminütige Version hat jedoch seltsamerweise die Tonart es-Moll. Es sind bisher zwei Konzerte Marleys bekannt, an welchen Sun Is Shining jeweils zu Beginn gespielt worden war: in Lenox, Massachusetts, und in Santa Barbara, Kalifornien, (beide 1978). Die Tonart der beiden Live-Versionen war wiederum e-Moll.

1999 wurde ein Dance-Remix des Songs vom dänischen DJ Funkstar De Luxe veröffentlicht; der Song erreichte Platz eins in den US-amerikanischen Dance-Charts und wurde zum Sommerhit. Funkstar De Luxe nahm dazu den Vokalpart Marleys aus der originalen Version und unterlegte ihn mit einem Dancemix; die Tonart ist ebenfalls e-Moll.
