Das Take-Off Weight (TOW) ist das Gewicht eines Flugzeuges beim Start. Es ist eines der für die Flugzeugabfertigung notwendigen Massen, das bei der Berechnung des Loadsheet ermittelt wird. Es ist als das Startgewicht des Flugzeuges am Point of Brake Release (dem Zeitpunkt, bei dem das Flugzeug an der Startbahn die Bremsen löst, um dann nach vorausberechneter Zeit abzuheben) definiert.


Das Take-Off Weight lässt sich wie folgt berechnen:


Take-Off Weight (TOW)
Basic weight
+ Catering
+ Crew und deren Gepäck
= Dry Operating Weight
+ Zuladung
= Zero Fuel Weight
+ Take-Off Fuel (TOF)
= Take-Off Weight
