Tanda (Tango)

Eine Tanda (span.: Reihe) ist ein Satz Musikstücke, mit normalerweise zwischen drei und fünf Stücken, der auf einer Milonga gespielt wird. Üblicherweise werden beispielsweise vier Stücke Tango oder Vals gespielt oder drei Milongas. Zwischen zwei Tandas wird meist eine Pause (Cortina) eingelegt.

Tandas bestehen normalerweise aus Musikstücken desselben Stiles, zum Beispiel eines bestimmten Orchesters mit Aufnahmen derselben Epoche. Manchmal werden auch Nicht-Tango Tandas gespielt, wie Rock ’n’ Roll, Cumbia oder Chacarera.
