Taromenane

Die Taromenane sind eine isoliert lebende Gruppe der Huaorani, die im Yasuní-Nationalpark im zu Ecuador gehörenden Teil des Amazonasbeckens lebt. Zusammen mit den Tagaeri und einigen anderen Huaorani-Gemeinschaften sind sie die letzten bekannten Indigenen Ecuadors, die freiwillig isoliert leben.

Schätzungen gehen von 150-300 Taromenane aus, die ein nomadisches Leben im Regenwald führen.
